How to use TrackRecord

TrackRecord publishes official statistical prints so they can be cited. We keep score. We do not play. The producer remains the authority. This page does not give investment advice.

For people

1. Cite the topic URL. Example: https://trackrecord.to/t/us-rates. That HTML is the citation original. The numbers are in the page.
2. Copy citation. The topic page already has a sentence with the print, as-of date, and source. Use Copy citation.
3. Verify via /v/{evidenceId} when an evidence id is present. That page shows the fetch time, hash, and official URL.
4. Creator Kit SVG must link back to the topic. The kit is number, definition, source, and chart. It has no talking points and no investment angles.

For agents

• Crawl GET /t/{topicSlug}. Numbers are in the HTML (view-source). Do not treat a client-side fetch as the record.
• Series history: GET /s/{seriesSlug}?format=json and ?format=csv. Public series slugs follow the catalog (fed-effr, bls-cpi-u, …), not us-cpi.
• Latest point: GET /embed/v1/{seriesSlug}?format=json.
• iframe /embed/v1/{seriesSlug} is distribution, not the citation original.
• JSON, iframe, and kit pages do not count as SEO citations. Indexable /t/* HTML does.
• There are no /n/ URLs. A point-in-time permalink is /s/{seriesSlug}/{as_of} (noindex; canonical to the topic).
